Soapy massage (อาบอบนวด, ap op nuat: literally "bathe, steam, massage") is the Thai bathhouse format: a large private room with a tub and a bath area. In Bangkok the best-known houses are big standalone buildings off Ratchadaphisek Road; on Sukhumvit you'll find smaller shops with bath rooms.
This guide lists 157 of them in 8 cities, 110 in Bangkok alone, with the address, opening hours, the nearest station, the Google rating and price details where a source is available (82 listings have them). Soapy houses are listed ahead of nuru shops that also offer a soapy room; within each group the order follows Google rating, review count and how complete the published information is. Where the soapy houses are in Bangkok
Most of the big names sit on the Ratchada side, within walking distance of MRT Huai Khwang or MRT Sutthisan: Maria, Black Caviar, The Lord, Poseidon and Lalisa Ratchada 17. See the Ratchada and Sutthisan pages for the full lists.
Further along New Phetchaburi Road, La Belle is about 5 minutes' walk from MRT Phetchaburi. Tara Bangkok is out on Soi Phatthanakan 46 in Suan Luang, a long way from any station, so a taxi is the practical option.
On Sukhumvit (Nana, Asok, Phrom Phong) the shops are smaller and closer to the BTS: 8 Fantasy, Smile Bangkok and BKK Vice are 3 to 5 minutes' walk from their stations.
What a session costs
Across the available price references, the median is about ฿3,500 for 60 minutes, ฿4,500 for 90 and ฿5,500 for 120. These figures mix different services and sources, so use them to frame questions rather than as booking quotes.
A Google reviewer reported ฿7,000 at Maria in January 2026. La Belle’s ฿6,500 reference is a customer report from July 2025. Neither is a current menu confirmed by the venue. Tara Bangkok’s website lists a 90-minute session at ฿7,900; thaiolddriver lists Lalisa Ratchada 17’s grades from ฿4,300 to ฿20,300, without durations.

Outside Bangkok
Pattaya has 17 venues, spread from Third Road and Soi Buakhao to Walking Street. Chiang Mai has 13, several of them around the Night Bazaar and Chang Khlan. Phuket has 9, in Phuket Town and Patong.
There are a handful more in Khon Kaen, Hua Hin, Phitsanulok and Udon Thani.
