About Soapy Bangkok

Soapy Bangkok is an adults-only (18+) guide to soapy massage in Thailand: the large bathhouse-style parlours known in Thai as อาบอบนวด, and the nuru shops that also offer soapy. It lists 157 venues, most of them in Bangkok, with others in Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket and four smaller cities.

What a listing tells you

Each venue page answers the practical questions: where it is, how to get there, when it's open, what it charges and how it rates on Google. Where a venue publishes a rate card, every item is quoted exactly as listed. Where it doesn't publish something, such as prices or hours, the page says so rather than guessing.

Where the information comes from

Listings are compiled from venues' own websites and rate cards, their Google Maps listings and Google reviews. Ratings are Google ratings, shown with the number of reviews behind them. Review summaries describe what several reviewers mention, not one-off comments.

What this site is not

Soapy Bangkok is a free information directory. It takes no bookings, arranges no services and sells nothing. No venue pays to be listed, and none can pay to rank higher.

Soapy houses are listed ahead of shops that only also offer soapy. Within each group, venues are ordered by Google rating, weighted by review count, with small bonuses for a available price reference, a website and opening hours. The methodology page explains this in full.
